Hey Folks.
One day late this week. Sorry about that but we were without
power all evening yesterday so it was impossible to get any
work done.
Last week I talked about how the economic crises also hit the
Internet business but last week was already much better. My
customers are coming back. A good sign that business soon
will be back to normal. So come on and advertise your business.
Remember that nobody will find your business if they can't find
your website!
Here in the south of Brazil it's now full summer with temperatures
above 30° Celsius. Good for our construction. We still hope we
can move in before the end of March.

Good afternoon I would appreciate, if you could tell me your opinion
on this subject. I am totally torn apart not knowing what is the right
thing to do. I and my immediate family were always into the natural,
home remedies, alternative medicine – herbs, teas……
And never really search the services of a doctor unless absolutely necessary.
My 18month old has quite a number of vaccinations behind him, and
honestly up until now I never really studied, or researched what’s behind

Just in case you don’t think information security and protection
is a serious matter, here are some figures from 2008.
The American Identity Theft Resource Center reports that over 35
million data records were stolen, lost or compromised in the U.S.
last year.
A total of 656 breaches are documented, from many well-known companies
and the government. This is a big 47% increase over 2007. The reasons
for the losses include stolen laptops, poorly trained employees,
hacking, accidental disclosure, employee theft, etc.
An investment bank in New Jersey called BNY Mellon Shareowner
Services reported the biggest loss at 12.5 million records that went
astray last February. A box of computer tapes was stolen out of an
unattended truck after the lock was broken. The tapes were unfortunately
not encrypted.
Insider theft doubled to 15.7% of all losses. There is not much you
can do to protect yourself from this kind of loss by other organizations.
Minimize the amount of personal info you give out, both online and off.
Ask why someone is asking for your data. If it is not required by law,
you can refuse.
